Trade Accounts

Standard Lighting offers trade account access for approved business customers who purchase electrical, lighting, solar, or pump supplies on a regular basis. Our trade program is designed for customers who require reliable supply, competitive pricing, and support for ongoing projects or resale requirements.

Approved trade customers may receive access to discounts based on monthly spend, order value, or product category. Discount structures may vary depending on purchasing volume, product availability, and the type of products being supplied.

Trade customers also receive support from a dedicated account manager who can assist with product sourcing, stock availability, and process of ordering.

We offer nationwide delivery throughout South Africa, making it easier for our trade customers to source products for their business.

To apply for a trade account, please complete the form below with your business details and estimated monthly spend. Once submitted, our team will review your application and contact you if any additional information is required. We aim to process all trade accounts within 48 hours. If approved, you will receive an email/phone call requesting all the necessary documents to finalize your account. To activate your account, we require an opening order equal to or more than R15,000 excluding VAT. This does not apply to interior designers.

Trade account approval is not guaranteed. Standard Lighting reserves the right to approve, decline, or review trade account access as its discretion. Discounts may vary depending on product category, stock availability, supplier pricing, and order volume. Some products may be excluded from trade discounts due to low margin, promotional pricing, or supplier restrictions. Shipping is quoted on a per-order basis unless stated otherwise in writing. All trade account orders are supplied on a cash basis, unless otherwise agreed in writing. This means that orders must be paid in full before dispatch.
